Between 1906 and 1926 the streetcar boats provided fast and reliable transportation for the residents of Lake Minnetonka. Three of the streetcar boats, including Minnehaha, were scuttled in deep water north of Big Island in 1926. Raised in 1980, and restored in the 90s, the Minnehaha now operates all summer long as a historical tour boat.
