Lifestyle Series - Winter Tradition
ABOUT THE DAY
This past weekend we loaded up the car and headed to our buddy's house on Indianhead Lake. One of our greatest winter traditions includes lacing up the skates for a game of pickup hockey. After weeks of prepping the ice, shoveling and flooding, the man-made rink is ready. Armed with shovels, hockey tape and plenty of coffee, we took to the ice for a classic game of boot hockey (the ladies watched safely from the bonfire pit.) We had a blast capturing the ideal winter weekend with 8 of our great friends.
We like to think of Indianhead Lake as a hidden gem. While small in size, the abundance of wildlife makes for an ideal day of canoeing. As Winter rolls around, homeowners break out the shovels to mark their territory and build the perfect pond hockey rink.
