For each hoodie sold, we'll donate $20 directly to Wilderness Inquiry to help "Share the Adventure!"
We're excited to kick off our 2020 Freshwater Initiative partnership with Wilderness Inquiry, a Minneapolis-based non-profit dedicated to providing inclusive outdoor access for all. Founded in 1978, Wilderness Inquiry facilitates opportunities for urban youth, individuals with disabilities and other nontraditional users of public lands and waterways. Through their programs such as “Canoemobile,” “Gateway to Adventure,” and “Outdoor Career Academy”, Wilderness Inquiry helps introduce people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to the outdoors in positive, life-changing ways.
Designed in partnership with Wilderness Inquiry, our Canoemobile Hoodie pays tribute to their Canoemobile program which turns a 24-foot Voyageur canoe into an "outdoor floating classroom" for students to learn about science, history, geography and culture. The Canoemobile travels across the country (canoes in tow!) so that a diverse array of students have the chance to experience this outdoor field trip. Canoemobile also offers free and open-to-the-public paddles in communities where it is working. These experiences change waterways into places of recreation, learning, and community-building. Nationwide, communities welcome Canoemobile to serve more than 30,000 youth and adults of all backgrounds and abilities each year.
Please note, this hoodie runs small so we recommend sizing up. Model is 5'10", 160 lbs and wearing a large.
